When Rick Poynor spoke a few weeks back at MCAD on surrealism in design I immediately thought of Eric Carlson’s work. I love that he always pushes the envelope, bizarre, abstract and beautiful all at the same time. The album artwork for Never Better may be one of my favorite pieces of music design, EVER.
